Full Job Description
Position: Kodo is seeking a Sales Account Executive to help us grow our brand presence and market share in the early childhood education market. This role will work closely with the Director of Sales to grow the brand, generate leads, and support our overall sales business. The ideal candidate is a passionate, highly motivated, energetic, and engaging sales professional with exceptional sales skills and a love for children, learning, and education.  As a Sales Account Executive you will cultivate relationships with early childhood education programs nationwide. On a daily basis you will be making sales calls and participating in a variety of product presentations to generate and close sales. To make the most of this opportunity, you will need a dynamic personality, top-notch communication skills and excellent follow-thru.

Salary:  $60k + bonus

Role Responsibilities:
  • Generate, drive, and close sales opportunities by phone, email, in-person, and webinars
  • Formulate, deliver, and support sales campaigns
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales to move opportunities thru the sales process
  • Develop strong relationships with key contacts to expand market-share
  • Create strategic and tactical plans to generate sales
  • Input and monitor daily activities in CRM
  • Develop and maintain pipeline within CRM database
  • Attend local and national trade shows and events
  • Meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, yearly sales goals
  • Prepare reports as needed
  • Develop and monitor various sales budgets
  • Collaborate with education and marketing departments on the development of sales collateral, including flyers, sales sheets, handouts, and catalogs
  • Identify industry trends and funding information
  • Drive sales opportunities to address client’s business requirements and issues, both externally with clients and internally with account teams

Ideal Qualifications and Candidate Traits:

  • 3-4 years of direct sales experience developing and implementing effective B2B sales strategies
  • Driven to help build a top-notch, effective sales program with unlimited growth potential
  • Background/experience working in education - early childhood education is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge in developing and implementing a sales plan/campaigns
  • Highly motivated to effectively move customers through the sales process, and close opportunities
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and successfully execute multiple assignments simultaneously, with excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced communication skills to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Authentic and genuine, sales isn’t hard because you love people and you’re passionate about education
  • You thrive and are flexible along with adaptable when facing changing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to think creatively and foster out-of-the box thinking with regards to tactics, channels and messaging
  • You’re a leader - a real people person with no ego issues
  • Generate and interpret analytical reports measuring performance and offering strategies based on the findings
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM software
  • Outstanding organizational skills
