Summary:
The Extraction Technician would be responsible for accurately and safely conducting the extraction process from measuring ingredients to refining oil. The responsibilities include a variety of multitasking, team building and to assisting the lab team with operations required to complete the functions of the lab.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain, clean and ensure proper operation of extraction equipment
• Accurately measure ingredients and record data
• Monitor extraction and record data
• Use a variety of equipment including but not limited to: extraction vessels, scales, presses, centrifuges, induction burners and thermometers
• Willingness to cross-train to create finished product as needed
• Ability to multitask while maintaining production and quality standards
• Record all data as instructed
• Contribute towards a clean and organized work area to ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP and GLP
• Contribute to improvement strategies in the lab while assisting with development of best practices
• Ability to shift work schedule according to production needs
• Be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain product stability
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in extraction or dietary supplements preferred
• Ability to stand, crouch, lift, write, push, pull items and equipment of varying weights
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Familiarity with 21 CFR 111, cGMP practices, DSHEA
• Good sense of humor, flexibility, and a willingness to grow with a rapidly changing company and industry

Compensation Package:
• $15.00 - $17.00
