  About the Position: The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for providing an excellent experience for all S.W. Basics customers through continuous improvement within the departmental functions.  This position requires hands-on involvement in the ordering process from order to invoice, as well as shipping and logistics, data analysis, and cross-functional communication across departments.  The Sales Operations Manager plays a key role in, and is measured on, helping to achieve annual company goals pertaining to sales operations, order fulfillment, and gross margin.   Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
  • Maintain excellent and timely communication as well as a high level of accuracy involving EDI and order processing, inventory allocations, invoicing, stock levels, and product inquiries.
  • Manage daily communication and reporting of order deadlines, fulfillment requirements, and vendor compliance with 3PL.
  • Work closely with accounting department to ensure finance related issues such as order and pricing discrepancies, shortage claims, etc. are addressed and resolved as needed.
  • Monitor stock levels and proactively communicate potential out of stocks.
  • Manage EDI trading partner set up and maintenance.
  • Track, dispute, and mitigate vendor compliance chargebacks.
  • Utilize continuous improvement initiatives to focus on achievement of annual goals and KPI’s.
  • Identify and present opportunities to improve processes within the organization especially as it pertains to efficiency and cost savings.
Required Skills                                                                   
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Creative problem solver; uses resourcefulness to actively seek resolutions
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Experience with EDI document processing, setup, and maintenance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Quickbooks and Shopify a plus
