Full Job Description

Department Mission:

The backbone and everything else in between – the infrastructure and masters of process and compliance that makes it all possible. They keep the CP+B machine well-oiled, so that the magic happens uninterrupted.

Summary of the Position:

This role will serve as a business partner to the internal client teams, responsible for the tracking, reporting, and timely billing of all client work. This role will also work closely with the Sr. Finance Manager to develop new more streamlined reports and procedures to ensure the client and CP+B are successful. 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the set up and tracking of all new client SOWs and payment terms
  • Responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with all client specific policies
  • Leverage excel skills to create and populate client budget trackers & reporting
  • Work closely with Account and Production teams to ensure alignment on job status
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly close process and assist with forecasting
  • Ensure timely billing of client fees and production jobs in accordance with client agreements
  • Monitor Client A/R and A/P aging and provide reporting to senior management
  • Assist Accounting with client close out procedures
  • Review and approve all submitted estimates for accuracy and customer approval
  • Monitor the status of unbillable costs and obtain required signatures for write-offs
  • Provide external client reporting in accordance with SOW deliverables
  • Work on any ad hoc requests as they arise
  • Monitor data for integrity issues and work with internal teams to resolve
  • Develop new reports and models to streamline existing processes

Job Requirements:

  • 2 – 4 years of business analysis experience in a comparable industry with exposure to service-based industries
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, SUMIFs and other data manipulation formulas)
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools (Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook)
  • Experience with databases a plus (Access, SQL)
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Ability to adapt
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail a must
  • Advertising experience a plus 

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other financial related field

This person should also love working with data and distilling information down into easily digestible information for leadership to make decisions.
