Full Job Description

We are looking for an action-oriented Brand Marketing Manager focused on PR and Influencers to grow the Artifact Uprising brand by leading community-driven initiatives and fostering relationships with brand advocates to support brand identity, product goals, and growth. We are looking for a marketing strategist who thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment to join the team in building a first-in-class brand.
 
You will report to our Brand Director who will look to you to represent our brand and play a critical role in building and optimizing our referral program. The ideal candidate should have strong relationship-building and communication skills. You should have a strong understanding of the evolving digital media landscape as a means to drive awareness and conversion — as well as a deep passion for the influencer and social media space.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

  • Develop cohesive referral strategy (press and influencers) to amplify brand messages, connect with potential new customers, and drive traffic.  
  • Scale our influencer program, network, and impact utilizing industry research, insights, competitor landscape, community feedback, and social tools while identifying new and emerging opportunities in the space.
  • Lead our holistic PR approach to guide an external PR agency. Write engaging press releases and pitches to develop stories that align with Artifact Uprising’s brand voice and tone.
  • Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns through data storytelling that results in key action items that grow your part of the business.  
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for our VIP influencers and partner agencies, including but not limited to a PR agency, influencer agency, affiliate agency, and more.
  • Oversee each detail for our key influencer campaign elements, including briefs, budget management, contract negotiations, deliverable execution, and community engagement.
  • Contribute to general marketing copy needs to drive brand forward.
  • Develop and expand user-generated content, curation, and procuring of images and testimonials that bring our product to life.
  • Review and recommend opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis.
  • Encompass team-player methodology to take on projects and other administrative daily tasks to support the larger marketing team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in consumer-facing and e-commerce brands.
  • Experience leading and growing Influencer Marketing and Public Relations programs
  • In-depth knowledge of the current social media landscape and PR/influencer marketing industry
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including writing samples demonstrating voice and word-smithery
  • Solutions oriented and strong bias for action
  • High level of independent drive to build your own success, with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Desire to grow with the Artifact Uprising team — ready to adapt and pivot in an fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • A positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships internally across the team and externally with our network and agencies

  • Current established relationships with influencers in the home/design/family or related industries
