This is a part time, contract position. Minimum 20 hours – Maximum 30 hours per week. June 3rd to October 31st, 2019.
- Be the main point of contact for Quinn’s customers and distributors, while providing impeccable customer service and dedication to customer satisfaction
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely response to all email/ telephone inquiries
- Enter customer orders into QuickBooks
- Transmit orders to the 3PL warehouse(s)
- Manage customer orders from time of receipt to delivery
- Confirm and process all orders within 24 hours
- Coordinate shipments from 3PL as necessary
- Ensure timely delivery to customers
- Process deductions, mis-shipments, etc.
- Process ASN’s (Advanced Shipping Notices) on customer websites
- Identify opportunities to improve procedures and policies that add value to the business
- Manage the implementation effort and day-to-day execution of EDI order processing
- Update various reports to manage order status and track monthly revenue
- Consumer Affairs – record & respond to all consumer inquiries via email or phone, including any necessary follow up (mail coupons, product, etc). Manage all Amazon review responses.
- Customer Chargebacks/Deductions Analysis (Amazon) – process all customer deductions & chargebacks, including any necessary follow up with customers.
- Be open to taking on new responsibilities as they arise, and generally be a team player willing to do any job, no matter how small or large
Qualifications
Above average organizational skills paired with a friendly and fluid demeanor will be vital to the success of any candidate, as well as the ability to work independently and own the tasks and processes entrusted to them. The position requires team and individual leadership skills as well as a strong sense of urgency in all matters related to the health of the business.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university
- A keen interest in natural foods and the business thereof
- Demonstrated and thorough knowledge of the freight industry
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and Excel skills are necessary
- Experience with QuickBooks is desired
- Impeccable communication skills, both written and oral
- Detail oriented and experienced in follow-through and completion of projects
- Strong time-management skills and ability to adhere to month-end close timelines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in an entrepreneurial/non-structured environment
