This Director, Global Recruiting position plays a key role on the People team and is responsible for building high-performing teams with the ability to execute on key initiatives. This person has a thorough understanding of the business and hiring needs, as well as the strategic trends and market dynamics of acquiring talent on a global level. This role operates with a sense of urgency balanced with a strong desire to ensure high quality recruiting practices, and executes an aggressive talent strategy.

This leader is highly strategic and capable of strong execution, and works to continuously improve our methodologies for attracting, assessing, and selecting the best talent. With a thorough understanding of candidate sourcing strategies, recruitment channels and market conditions, this person has a considerable impact on our business outcomes.

 Make an Immediate Impact:

  •  Provide expertise in market insights, talent landscape, and an understanding of recruiting needs to assist in developing company growth plans and forecast.
  • Establish multi-year plans to build a high performing talent acquisition function with emphasis on future capabilities.
  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that achieve financial, operational and employee retention goals.
  • Partner with Marketing to help drive a strong employment brand strategy and incorporate into recruiting processes.
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, and development to recruiting team members across multiple regions.
  • Lead sourcing strategies, and build talent pipelines for current and future job openings
  • Form collaborative relationships with business leaders, Talent Managers, Human Resources and Employee Education to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to hiring and retaining talent.
  • Oversee all stages of the hiring process and seek to continuously improve the candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Manage our external partnerships with colleges, job boards and vendors
  • Prepare and manage the annual recruitment budget, and analyze spend in the department to bring efficiencies while maintaining a high level of service.
  • Leverage social networking and other cutting-edge recruiting technologies and tools to connect with a broad and diverse talent network.
  • Build a best-in-class diversity recruitment strategy to support the overall company business goals.
  • Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness of our company
  • Measure, report and achieve key recruitment metrics, like source of hire, internal referrals and time-to-hire
  • Invoke data driven recruiting processes and systems, as well as predictive analytics structures to support business decision making.

 Your Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or related field, Master degree preferred
  • Proven work experience as a highly skilled senior global recruiter, leader of a recruiting team or similar role
  • Demonstrable experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employer branding initiatives
  • Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. social networks)
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and HR databases
  • Proven team leadership and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships (with internal teams, external partners and candidates)
  • Curious, confident, collaborative and proactive
  • Highly analytical with the ability to communicate key metrics and their meaning.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects simultaneously
