OLLY is a fresh new start-up (we launched in 2015 to be exact) working to bring simplicity and delight to the world of nutritional supplements. Yes, stuff like vitamins, probiotics and plant protein. Our Sales Analyst is the hub of generating the insights Sales needs to drive the business. He/she will need to work cross-functionally within OLLY to help support all efforts of the Sales team and work externally with our customers to deliver best-in-class insights within the categories in which we compete.
Reporting to our Director of Sales Planning, our Sales Analyst will serve as a key member of our team and will be an important asset to our continued growth and share of mind with retailers. Opportunities for new experiences to demonstrate leadership and growth are limitless.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations to grow the OLLY business including but not limited to merchandising, pricing, and assortment execution in-market, new product launch performance, competitive activity
- Lead data narrative with Sales team - sharing out results on weekly calls, ensuring the team has a clear understanding of the business
- Help prepare for key customer meetings and category reviews by analyzing and providing insights from customer-specific and syndicated data
- Develop and set up standardized reporting tools to evaluate current sales goals and promote operational efficiency Â
- Manage reports related to sales revenue, POS, and forecasts
- Work cross-functionally to support field sales
- Contribute to the culture to make life in the park better for all of us!
CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED
- Driven individual that has had 2-3+ years of experience working with analytics
- Ability to proactively uncover data points and then change information into insights for actionable growth
- Proven ability to solve problems and drive for results
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint & syndicated database skills (Nielsen, IRI)
- Passion for sales and a strong desire to build a transformational brand in today's marketplace
- Experience with a high-performance field organization, sales planning and broker network
- A true "Team Player" who can work cross-functionally to achieve results
