Feel like unleashing the world’s most powerful force for change?
We started DoneGood because we believe that the dollars we all spend are the world’s most powerful force for change. Americans gave $390 billion to charity last year—but we spent $130 Trillion buying stuff. If even a fraction of that spending can also reduce poverty, fight climate change, and otherwise make the world better, the impact is huge!
DoneGood (www.donegood.co) makes it quick, easy, and affordable to use our purchasing power for good every time we shop online. Forbes called DoneGood “The Amazon for Social Good.”
On the DoneGood Shop site users can instantly search—and save on—tens of thousands of products from hundreds of DoneGood-approved brands.
The DoneGood browser plugin automatically recommends socially and environmentally responsible alternatives as you shop on Amazon, Google, or big-name retailers’ sites.
DoneGood is a Certified B Corporation “Best for the World” Awardee and Public Benefit Corporation (PBC), so our values are baked into our company’s DNA. We are a growing startup that has quickly generated praise from users, partner brands and organizations, and national media outlets like Forbes, Mashable, WIRED, USA Today, and many others.
DoneGood’s VP of Marketing role is the top marketing position in the company. This entrepreneurial-minded person will lead DoneGood’s marketing efforts, and will also be critical in discussions related to the overall strategy, vision, and direction of the business.

Compensation:
Salary and equity offering are commensurate with experience, within budget. All full-time employees are offered health care and other benefits.
*Please note:
We all took pay cuts from our previous positions because we believe in what we're building: 1. That creating the shopping platform where millions of people use their purchasing power to reduce poverty, empower women, fight climate change and create or more socially just economy will make an incredibly positive impact, and 2. The equity all of us own will eventually be worth more than the initial reduction in salary anyway.
We’re a “late early-stage” startup that’s still on a tight budget. As such, this is not a six figure job. However, you will likely be tied for the top-paid team member in the company, and will likely earn more than the CEO.
We also provide generous equity ownership in the company, as well as health care benefits.
We seek to create a diverse and inclusive team:
DoneGood, PBC is extremely committed to creating a diverse team from all walks of life and lifestyles, with unique and varying experiences and viewpoints, and to creating a welcoming and empowering environment for all. DoneGood provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, ethnicity, color of skin or hair or eyes or anything, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, age, disability, marital status, previous criminal conviction, or anything else that doesn’t have any damn thing to do with how well you’ll get the job done.
If you identify with an underrepresented group or background, we are grateful for your application.
