Outside Magazine/Outside Online is looking for a Digital Ad Trafficker in our Boulder, Colorado, office. This position is responsible for setting up and trafficking Outside Online’s advertising campaigns, placements and creative assets through Google Ad Manager and creating tools, process and reports for complex advertising campaigns. The position is also responsible for trafficking custom content campaigns.
Responsibilities Include:
- Place, target, schedule and launch advertising campaigns on multi-device platforms meeting technical specifications; modify and test/QA as necessary
- Review and ensure all ad orders adhere to creative, technical and legal specifications
- Utilize 3rd party ad tags ranging from simple creative setups, including standard desktop display, mobile, and 1x1 tracking, to more intricate creative setups, including but not limited to video, native and custom creative
- Manage, monitor and communicate advertising progress to internal colleagues as assigned
- Check weekly reports, providing updates in team meetings and troubleshooting support for trafficking issues related to creatives and implementation
- Analyze campaign performance and make suggestions for optimization
- Proactively investigate delivery discrepancies, technical issues, etc.
- Work closely with the Campaign Managers and Media Planners to ensure timely launch and correct campaign implementation, addressing any questions/issues that may arise
- Support Campaign Managers and Media Planners as necessary
Requirements Include:
- 2+ years of digital ad trafficking required
- Mastery of Excel
- Professional experience with digital sales or digital ad operations is a strong plus
- Experience with digital image file manipulation and working with third party rich media providers a plus
- Strong customer service experience and the ability to foster relationships as necessary; flexible, patient, courteous, professional
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of energy, with ability to cope with workload peaks, multitasking and meeting tight deadlines
- Problem-solving, analytical skills and resourcefulness. Proactive, quick learner
