Summary:
Purely Elizabeth is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insights Manager to deliver consumer and marketplace insights to drive business growth. The Insights Manager must be a self-starter with a strong analytical background and be able to synthesize large amounts of information into actionable insights. This role reports into the Director of Marketing.
Roles + Responsibilities:
Strategic Thinker  Â
- Tirelessly represent the consumer and marketplace dynamics to inform key business decisions.
- Ensure that knowledge is integrated and synthesized to provide clear, actionable insights and business recommendations.
- Actively participate in and provide thought leadership in all aspects of the business unit.
- Identify business opportunities through data analytics and present opportunities to the management team and key stakeholders in a thoughtful and actionable manner.
           Data Analytics
- Accountable for analytics across the portfolio and business functions including consumer research, syndicated data analysis, distributor data and other analytical tools available to deliver insights.
- Leverage all available information and be able to creatively problem solve to yield important insights for the business.
- Develop, socialize and implement frameworks and templates for analyzing information.
- Explore and implement new methods of gathering insights.
- Support sales team in sales reporting, forecasting, trade promotion management, customer sales planning and analysis
- Prepare monthly presentations on sales performance, customer sales reporting and trade promotion effectiveness
           Strong Execution
- Must be a self-starter consistently identifying new opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
- Drive to deadlines with thorough and thoughtful analysis, consistent communication and follow through.
- Work with the rest of the Marketing team on projects in a thoughtful and cooperative manner.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years’ experience in data analytics/consumer insights
- Some experience in CPG or wellness industry preferred
- Ambitious, highly motivated individual
- Adaptable with exposure to working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Creative problem-solver and conceptual thinker with strong foundation in analyzing data
