Endless West is a beverage company using science to create its own blend of wines and spirits. Its first product, Glyph, is the first whiskey ever to be crafted note by note, using molecules (or, flavor and aroma notes) extracted in their purest form from more efficient sources in nature. Unlike conventional whiskeys, Glyph is made without aging or barreling — which means significantly less wood, water and land is used in its production process. Founded in 2015 by scientists Alec Lee and Mardonn Chua, and sommelier, Josh Decolongon, the company is headquartered in San Francisco and has raised nearly $13 million in total funding to date.

We’re looking for a talented Marketing Associate to cultivate our online and in-person communities. Our work has already attracted significant interest from a range of industries: from whiskey enthusiasts, scientists, and members of the culinary world, to creatives in design, technology, and fashion.

Who we’re looking for

The ideal candidate is excited by the prospect of starting a cultural shift in the role that science and technology plays in the lives of consumers, specifically regarding food and drink. You may be a recent college graduate, or looking to transition from another role / industry into marketing.

You have a knack for engaging with a wide range of people (with equally diverse perspectives) and bringing them together based upon shared interests. You’re an active member of internet communities, have facilitated a range of online conversations, and may have experience as a moderator. You are warm and thoughtful with an instinct for how to grow these groups, but have no qualms rolling your sleeves up and getting everyday tasks done. You are really, really organized. Your attention to detail is stellar, and you have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

There’s a lot of upfront work to tackle, but you will have a seat at the table with all senior members of our team, and we will make sure you feel empowered to voice your opinion. If all goes well, you will to grow into and own other work-streams. Most of this role is externally-facing with our online communities; some of this role is internally-facing with our sales and marketing directors.

- Handle initial email inquiries from press, trade, and consumers 
- Email marketing, website management 
- Assist creative / art direction 
- Manage asset creation process: vendors, proof / sample approval, invoices
