Dream job/career opportunity for outdoor loving hospitality manager! We are seeking an outgoing, “people person” who is organized, energetic, adventurous, and self-motivated individual to live on-site and manage the new Fall River Village Resort, an 86-unit mountain resort in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado. Our vacation rental resort is located near Rocky Mountain National Park. The position includes year-round accommodation in a condo unit attached to the lobby/reservation office. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of executive management or management experience, preferably within the hospitality industry or vacation rental industry. The candidate mustbe willing and able to relocate and live in Estes Park.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the resort including front office staff, housekeeping, maintenance and assist with weddings and events
- Provide exceptional customer service to all resort guests
- Maintain and help operate marketing channels
- Manage to the operational budget
- Maintain property to the highest standards
- Inspect property on a regular basis and ensure the implementation of actions towards safety, comfort, and cleanliness of the resort.
- Remain readily available for guests and resort needs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university; Hospitality Management emphasis preferred
- 3 years of executive management, business management, hospitality management experience preferred, specifically resort or hotel management experience preferred
- Marketing and Sales experience preferred
- Ability to live on-site in Estes Park, Colorado
- Preferred start date July 22, 2019

- Positive, outgoing, people-person personality essential to the role
- Ability to interact with management, associates, guests, and the general public in a friendly, courteous, tactful, patient, and honest manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Microsoft Office skills required
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
- Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop and lift up to 50lbs
- Able to work independently and motivate staff
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
