Full Job Description
We’re looking for a Marketing & Project Management Specialist to lead and execute our brand storytelling initiatives and deepen our connection with our guests in our communities, while driving the business forward. You’re the right team member if:

Responsibilities

    • Help build our marketing, PR, and brand strategy that will grow Smitten into a leading, values-focused brand at the intersection of the food and technology worlds
    • Oversee and implement our marketing, PR and design efforts, effectively prioritizing and ensuring synergy throughout all projects
    • Manage all public-facing communications in shops, online, and via social media with well crafted messaging to continue to grow our community
    • Manage marketing budget, track metrics for all campaigns, and optimize plans based on ROIs
    • Manage and produce all internal marketing materials included photography, signage and branding assets
    • Work cross functionally with product, sourcing, catering, store design, people & culture, engineering, finance, and real estate teams to grow the Smitten brand
    • Partner with external PR team to help execute partnership and media activations
    • Produce all marketing campaigns, with efficient timeline management, budgeting and communication to all involved parties 
    • Act as brand ambassador at high profile events including media tastings, partnership events, and photography shoots
    • Work with shop leaders to educate and train with effective local Marketing strategies
    • Plan, execute and represent Smitten at large-scale culinary events, music festivals, and experiences that grow brand awareness nationally
    • Manage end-to-end brand partnerships; with internal team and external agencies 
    • Update and maintain website, newsletter campaigns, review sites and social media
    • Partner with our Founder to develop, hone, and implement the general brand messaging plan for our business; you ensure the sincerity and accuracy of the Smitten brand voice at every point of contact

Requirements

    • 5+ years experience in marketing roles at companies within the consumer/lifestyle space (retail experience highly preferred)
    • Experience working in the growth phase of an organization
    • Top-notch copywriting skills with a focus on effective marketing language
    • Experience project-managing PR, marketing and design efforts
    • Ability to prioritize and speak truthfully regarding projects to all internal and external team members
    • Ability to manage projects with overall brand strategy in-mind
    • Experience with social media and content marketing, visual merchandising, website management (WordPress), web analytics and email marketing platforms
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to create real impact by helping to design the future of the company
    • Exceptional interpersonal, relationship building, and leadership skills
    • Experience with, and passion for, creating amazing in-store experiences
    • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage many balls (or ice cream scoops!) in the air at once
    • Sound analytical skills; expert in Google Suite, Microsoft Excel
    • Authorized to work in the United States
    • Must pass a background check
    • Passion for ice cream
