Looking for an opportunity to thrive and flex your creative muscles at a thoughtful, sustainable start-up? Rothy’s is looking for a Content Strategist to join our Brand Marketing team to own the curation of compelling brand stories, lead our email marketing strategy and execution, manage content site mapping and other content related projects. You’ll be a part of the larger marketing team and work closely with the creative, merchandising and site teams. What you'll do:Â
Brand + Storytelling
- Identify brand stories by proactively working cross functionally to learn about new and upcoming projects and rollouts
- Collaborate cross functionally and internally within the marketing department to refine and flesh out stories and identify appropriate and effective channels for distribution
- Plan and develop creative briefs, set and meet deadlines and work with designer to usher projects through to completion
- Partner with all channel owners and teams (including; digital, social, media, comms, product and more) to develop our editorial marketing strategy, email curation and cadence, overall editorial calendarÂ
- Site homepage asset mapping for each collection in partnership with brand and ops
 Email
- Ensure integration of the email program plan into the larger marketing messaging calendar
- Develop strategies to drive engagement and incremental revenue through up-sell, cross-sell, and retention
- You'll lead the strategy, execution and optimization of all Rothy’s emails from start to finish at every stage of a customer's lifecycle
- Define goals of all email communication working with the content and design teams to translate those into a high-quality, on-brand finished product
- Use data to identify core guest segments and develop tailored marketing and email communication strategies
- Support post purchase trigger email development
 Marketing planning, execution and creative asset development:
- Maintain marketing and planning calendars
- Work closely with the site merchandiser and category specialists to ensure seamless storytelling between marketing channels and site pages
- Serve as a liaison between the seasonal, brand, social, creative and site merchandiser/category specialists to ensure the timely delivery of high quality assets and compelling messages
- Build out a library of asset content for use across the company when requested. (i.e. provide approved imagery for marketing emails around general themes such as: comfort, sustainability, color/breadth of assortment, style)Â
- Develop concepts for photos / creative based on marketing briefs; manage timelines and oversee the execution of creative assets
Who you are:
- You’ve got 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2C or with an agency
- You're high energy with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. You navigate tight deadlines in a dynamic environment effortlessly
- Ability to maintain self-motivation and operate with an entrepreneurial, growth-focused mindset
- Extensive experience in writing, developing, and proofing assets on a tight timelineÂ
- Big picture thinker. You have a holistic viewpoint of the brand, and its direction. You are proactive with this informationÂ
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism or a creative field
