Our Accounting and Finance team isn’t your average group of number crunchers. As a growing D2C brand, this team is in the unique position to approach a traditional department in an exciting new way. From the way we create our shoes to how we market them, Rothy’s is paving its own path. And that means the Accounting and Finance team gets in on the fun innovations, too. 

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong technical skills and intellectual curiosity to deliver accounting data to support all financial statements. The ideal candidate can efficiently consolidate financial data, report out to internal and external stakeholders, and take ownership of our close process. You’ll be a part of the core of our business as we scale as an organization!

What you’ll do:

• Perform US month-end and year-end close through close collaboration with the Accounting Manager
• Manage the posting of journal entries and reconciliation of General Ledger accounts 
• Thoroughly understand financial statements, GAAP, and our reporting process 
• Deliver timely and accurate financial results to our FP&A team
• Assist with our annual audit process 

Who you are: 

• You have 3-5 years of experience in Accounting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• You have a thorough understanding of US GAAP
• You’ve used a mid-tier ERP system (SAPbyDesign preferred)
• You’ve held a role in the E-Commerce and/or manufacturing industry; preferred
• You have strong analytical skills and great attention to detail 
• You pride yourself on having great time management skills
• You are highly adaptable and comfortable wearing multiple hats
