We are seeking a contract-to-hire consultant to fill a mid-level, event marketing program strategist position, primarily supporting a client's in-house team in planning their large-scale, annual customer conference. The role is a blend of event marketing, content strategy and agenda development, audience experience design, event theme development, speaker recruitment and management, as well as general timeline, project coordination and client stakeholder communications and engagement. This is not an event planning or logistics position.
We are seeking candidates to collaborate with us as a part-time contractor for up to six months and can offer an average of 20 hours/week of paid training and client deliverable work during that time. If the contractor engagement goes well, we anticipate offering a full-time, salaried role to the contractor. We anticipate the contract-to-hire conversion taking place at six months or sooner, depending on client work demand.
