The ideal candidate is a highly analytical leader who will join and help grow the reBLEND team. You will be responsible for leading the company's day-to-day business operations (managing the company budget, ensuring operational compliance is followed, and addressing administrative issues). This role is the perfect fit for someone passionate about building an innovative health and wellness brand that is redefining the role a food company can have in the way people eat!Â
Responsibilities
• Production: Manage orders, plan production runs, oversee and manage ingredient procurement/inventory management.
• Co-Packer: Maintain relationship and production schedules o Storage: Ensure cost-effective and inventory management of product in storage o Distribution: Optimize and ensure timely delivery of product to points of sale o Fulfillment: Work with drop-ship partners to ensure ecommerce orders are serviced.Â
• Budget+ Forecast: Maintain and update forecasted budget and production expectations by partnering with salesÂ
• Delivery/Deployment: Ensure deployment of product to sales accounts is seamless by setting up scheduled deliveries, communicating with sales accounts, and coordinating product transit.Â
• Finance/AP: Oversee and manage AP invoices and ensure vendors are paid and expenses are reported to Controller.Â
• Legal Vendor Contracts: Act as liaison to ensure vendor contracts and agreements are in place.Â
Accountabilities:Â
• Own production and product deliveryÂ
• Own day to day of co-packer relationshipsÂ
• Own ingredient procurementÂ
• Own reporting of COGS and updates on key fluctuations.Â
• Work with Controller to ensure all pertinent information is reportedÂ
• Work with sales to roll up sales expectations and forecasts.Â
• Budget and forecast future spendsÂ

Qualifications
• Must have food industry experience
• Education: MBA or Bachelors degree with engineering or supply chain focus Relevant experience in Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations in the food industry; CPG experience is a mustÂ
• Strong business acumen, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite productsÂ
• Experience in managing, coaching, and providing guidance to junior team members and the passion for creating an environment where creative solutions are nurtured
• The ability to travel out of stateÂ
• The ability and willingness to transport reBLEND supplies with your own personal vehicle when needed. Car ownership, valid driver’s license and current insurance is required.Â
• Access to a computer and ability to utilize the Microsoft program suite.Â
• Access to a personal smart phone for schedule updates, photo capturing, and emails.Â
• The ability to periodically lift heavy items including boxes up to 50 lbs.Â
