This candidate will coordinate with clients to understand their design needs, execute on graphic requirements and build out their creative strategy. In each of these projects, you will ensure that outcomes are on budget, within brand, and incorporate current design trends. 

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively across the agency and clients to understand creative needs
• Create illustrations and layouts for use across various digital and print channels
• Design publication-ready, high-quality figures, tables, graphs for publications, posters, and regulatory documents
• Develop visual identities and graphic systems for biotech companies
• Craft motion graphic animations that support brand or product ideas
• Lead strategy and development of all creative campaigns ensuring a consistent brand across channels
• Remain current on emerging trends in digital technology to incorporate new technologies into your strategy
• Manage production timelines, vendor relationships, and quality or cost controls

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience
• Formal training in graphic design preferred but not required
• Fluency with design software and technology (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
• Experience with print layout, ideally business promotional flyers and brochures
• Knowledge of and experience with creating motion graphics
• Strong portfolio of illustrations, layout and motion graphics
• Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
• Eye for detail
• Ability to work in-office with Samba staff
