Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and proven Head of Supply Chain to work closely with the leadership team to drive key aspects of supply chain for our early stage but rapidly growing company. The role will involve day-to-day developing, executing, and improving processes, tools, and systems that encompass forecasting, sourcing, procurement, outsourced manufacturing, inventory management, 3PL management, fulfillment, logistics. The ideal candidate is able to work nimbly as part of a small team focused on launching new products and services while strategically implementing practices for future growth. This is an opportunity to come in at the ground level of a fast-paced startup, directly impact the company’s trajectory, and be a key contributor to a team that’s changing an industry for the better.

Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

• Own supply chain activities and initiatives, including supply plans, production scheduling, purchase order management, and fulfillment
• Maintain key relationships across suppliers and other network partners
• Source and develop new products and components
• Oversee transportation domestically and internationally
• Implement and improve operational systems such as inventory and order management software; design and test integration to Sunday’s tech platform
• Measure and drive cost of goods to meet mid- and long-term goals
• Evaluate and improve supply chain performance including gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics
• Work cross functionally with other departments within the company on various projects

Qualifications

• +7 years of progressive experience supply chain
• Must possess functional expertise across sourcing, outsourced manufacturing, 3PL logistics, and cost optimizing 
• Relevant experience in consumer / physical goods industry
• Experience in ecommerce, direct-to-consumer business
• Ideally has experiencing sourcing from and managing international suppliers
