Bestop, the leading manufacturer of premium Jeep and truck soft tops and accessories worldwide, is looking for an E-Commerce Marketing Specialist. This is an opportunity to join an exciting, growing organization – one that was just recognized as a Best Places to Work (2019). Full-time position is based in Louisville, Colorado.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build Bestop’s marketing presence and optimize sales on Amazon.com through Amazon Vendor Services portal (50% of time). Responsibilities include:
- Development and maintenance of A+ Content
- Plan, develop and implement comprehensive advertising campaigns to increase sales, visibility, brand recognition and drive sales across Amazon.
- Identify opportunities for growth on Amazon.com
- Work closely with Bestop marketing team, product development team and product data specialist to ensure Bestop product is merchandised correctly and accurately on Bestop.com and Bestop partner websites.
- Coordinate and execute Bestop.com initiatives, including BuyItInstalled home installation, content blog and promotions.
- Oversee implementation of SEO recommendation on Bestop.com
- Manage revamp, upgrade and evolution of Bestop.com website.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Stay informed with eCommerce retail industry best practices, new trends and technologies, marketplaces, and platform updates (e.g. Amazon, Shopify, etc.)
Required Experience:
- A minimum of five years with digital marketing, with a focus on e-commerce
- In-depth experience working with Amazon Vendor Services portal and track record growing revenue through Amazon.com sales
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Advertising
- Understanding of Amazon Reporting and terminology (PCOGs, ACOS, ROAS, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Excellent data and analytical superpowers
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field.
- You have launched at least one e-commerce website in your career
- Thrives in an autonomous working environment – a self-starter who takes initiative
- Experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytic
- Familiarity with the “4P’s” of marketing
- Proficient in standard office software packages (Word, Excel)
- Comfortable presenting, both formally (in meetings, for example) and informally (1:1 or to small groups of people at grassroots events, for example)
- Impeccable and unwavering organizational skills required to manage multiple projects simultaneously, sometimes from out in the field
- Excellent and unflappable interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of business contacts – internally and externally
- A sense of urgency, professional ambition, and a “Heck Yeah” zeal for getting things done, no matter the obstacle!
