Full Job Description

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager, Online Merchandising to manage the overall coordination of site/customer experience on Amazon.com, and other online channels over time. Your direct responsibility will be to contribute to direct business goals for Osmo products on all online channels, starting with Amazon properties worldwide.

This role will be a broad multi-functional role covering brand development, sales analytics, category insights and sales strategy for Osmo on online channels. This is a critical and key role as Tangible Play scales rapidly during a high growth phase, especially around online retail channels. We also expect the right person with a growth-mindset will find ways to expand in this role to adjacent responsibilities in Channel Marketing.

Responsibilities

    • Manage the customer experience including site content (text, image & videos) updates, promotions experience set up, product activation process, and site merchandising improvements.
    • Partner with the account management and performance marketing team to understand our needs and priorities, and plan a strategy/site optimizations.
    • Analyze results weekly/monthly/quarterly to anticipate future business changes and challenges and proactively develop and implement site updates.
    • Maximize customer experience and optimizing the Amazon platform to push customers through the sales funnel, improve conversion and increase repeat visitors.
    • Recognize and leverage category business opportunities based on industry trends, competitive research and customer demand to ensure competitive advantage in the online market.
    • Support and develop junior team members.
    • Drive and support the sales plan by delivering the LS&Co brand/product strategy to the Amazon consumer.
    • Be the essential link between sales, performance marketing and content marketing.
    • Own Amazon Product Content Health and Share of Voice for non-branded search.
    • Guide seamless development of onsite campaigns.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience with an emphasis on business, marketing, consumer research, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce. Experience in consumer electronics/toys/ learning systems highly beneficial.
    • Digital marketplace experience (e.g. Amazon, Walmart.com , eBay). Experience with Amazon.com merchandising, Vendor Central and/or Seller Central would be a huge plus.
    • Familiarity with the nuances of 1P vs 3P marketplace sales techniques
    • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work under tight timelines.
    • Work well independently and collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to problem solve while also seeing and appreciating the finer details of execution.
    • Experience measuring the latest technologies and media (mobile, social).
    • Good knowledge of SEO fundamentals.
