Full Job Description

Our expansion team is looking for a Project Manager who can work across multiple teams to drive activities to expand Caliva locations.

 In this role, you will contribute to the expansion strategy, and manage all related activities working with real estate, regulatory, legal, and business channel owners.  The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with change, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires an individual with excellent communication and cross-functional management abilities. This person must also enjoy being a project contributor and thrive in working in a start-up environment.

 

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to the end to end strategy from prioritizing expansion opportunities to securing physical locations & licensing in order to transition them to the build out team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to track work streams and orchestrate a regular cadence of stakeholder meetings.
  • Manage due diligence activities related to location acquisitions.
  • Create integration plans for newly acquired locations.
  • Draft decision analysis and lead creation of business cases to help summarize findings, compare options & define costs and define operating plan required for expansion investments.
  • Ability to create structure for dynamic and ambiguous projects
  • Balance requirements with various constraints including resource capacity, budget and regulation impacts.
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify risks and create mitigation plans to ensure successful outcomes.

What You Have

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in project management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including writing business cases and presenting in front of senior management.
  • Uses innovative thinking and has the the ability to think strategically and creatively using sound business judgment.
  • Experience with real estate, compliance, or retail expansions a plus.

Working Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers and filing cabinets.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, use hands and fingers for data entry for 8 hours or more, some lifting, squatting, bending, some pushing and pulling.
  • Must be able to travel to other office locations – 10% travel.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Must pass a background check with the San Jose Police Department.
