Full Job Description

The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for the marketing of a product or service in its entirety, from research and development through sales. You will oversee the advertising for the product, directs the marketing research and manages distribution.

  • Supervises all activities related to the brand.
  • Acts as the key source of information within the organization on the brand and on competitive products.
  • Works closely with all internal departments and external suppliers involved in the sales and marketing of the product or service.
  • Ensures the success of the brand.
  • Oversees and is accountable for the product financial performance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

  • Interacts effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically; excellent analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to articulate rationale to internal teams and clients
  • Results-oriented and demonstrated creativity
  • Familiarity with data related to the specific industry
  • An in-depth understanding of marketing and advertising is essential
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field
  • 7 + years of experience in brand management

Working Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers and filing cabinets.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, use hands and fingers for data entry for 8 hours or more, some lifting, squatting, bending, some pushing and pulling.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Must pass a background check with the San Jose Police Department.
