Cuyana is looking for an Insights and Analytics Manager to serve a critical role in the development of data-driven insights and recommendations focused on merchandise product and inventory to help drive growth. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, develop, and socialize key financial and inventory metrics to track product performance and inventory efficacy
- Build, operationalize, and track performance indicators and develop dashboards to proactively highlight opportunities and recommend solutions
- Develop performance models to forecast sales and inventory to enable efficient product mix and short-to-long term supply planning
- Provide in-depth analytics across the product lifecycle
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to uncover revenue and margin opportunities by diving into areas such as product mix and inventory optimization
- Interpret and present performance analysis to key stakeholders and executives to influence strategic data-driven decisions
- Partner with Marketing insights and analytics to develop best practices across knowledge domains
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience in management consulting, data science, or business intelligence supporting inventory management, merchandising or supply chain functions
- Ability to effectively manipulate large and complex datasets to drive to insights. Must have direct advance experience using SQL, statistical programming language (e.g., R, Matlab, Python), and Excel
- Retail, e-commerce, or financial services industry experience preferred
- Proven track record delivering actionable insights through predictive modeling, statistical forecasting and other advanced analytical methods
- Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge the gap between financials and product goals, imperfect data, and a mixed technology environment and working across a wide audience from Merchandising to Engineering to Stores
- Strong intellectual curiosity combined with a knack for recognizing correlations, trends, and statistical irregularities
- Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced degree preferred
