Position Summary

This is an opportunity to join a highly capable operations team at a fast-growing startup. The Key Operations and Logistics Hire will be an integral part of the team responsible for creating supply chain efficiencies and supporting significant sales growth. You will manage relationships with third party logistics warehouses, co-packers, and co-manufacturers. To be successful in this role, you are organized and fast-moving, proficient at multi-tasking and forecasting.

Snapshot of Responsibilities

• Manage fulfillment of multi-million dollar revenue stream
• Optimize freight costs for B2B fulfillment and shipping costs for B2C fulfillment
• Collaborate with finance and sales teams to evaluate existing customer fulfillment infrastructure and optimize as needed to improve efficiency and cost
• Using supply planning and demand planning to forecast inventory needs
• Communicating inventory shortages and surpluses to relevant departments, coordinating with sales promotional calendar to prepare for demand fluctuation
• Maximize supplier reputation and vendor scorecards via maintaining and improving on-time-in-full metrics
• Managing the exchange of all EDI documents between trading partners
• Order to Cash Process: Receiving Purchase Orders, Sending Invoices, Ship Notices
• Proactively reporting on company KPIs and creatively finding improvements
• Owning the operations related portions of the financial statement close each period

Job Requirements

• 5-7 years CPG Industry Experience
• Netsuite Inventory Management Proficiency
• EDI experience (SPS Commerce)
• Microsoft Excel Proficiency
• Business Operations Degree
• Collaborative, hard-working, self-motivated personality
• Light-hearted disposition, sense of humor
