Here at Huckberry, we're building the 21st century men's retailer. We’re on a mission to inspire and equip adventures near and far, and along the way create the most loved men’s retailer on the planet.
We’re looking for a strategic-minded analyst to step in and push forward our finance and analytical function here at Huckberry. Far from just a “monthly reporting” finance role, this is a high impact position that will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Huckberry. The ideal candidate has finance chops, but can flex into other parts of the organization to help analyze business data, and build decision frameworks and processes to evolve Huckberry into a lean, mean fighting machine.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning efforts at Huckberry, and serve as analytical lead for key strategic cross-functional projects
- Own company operating model, developing 3-Year operating plan including projected P&L performance and cash flow
- Revamp and maintain customer and channel based revenue forecast models, and point of view on associated inventory and customer acquisition plans
- Drive the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic plan
- Utilize company reporting capabilities to develop actionable insights on business performance
- Partner with Planning, Performance Marketing and Merchandise teams to help develop key operating strategies and processes
- Play a key role in the development of investor relations materials, including quarterly Board of Directors and investor updates
- Lead various ad-hoc projects related to company strategy and operations
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years in an analytical and data-driven role such as investment banking, consulting, or finance & strategy in a corporate environment
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, apparel or consumer sectors a plus
- Must be an analytical, strategic thinker with the ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Technical capability to build complex financial models and conduct detailed data analysis
- Ability to draw concise conclusions from complex and detailed data, and present results to leadership team at Huckberry
- Comfort with ambiguity, and ability to improve processes and build business decision frameworks
- Highly proficient in Excel, financial modeling and Powerpoint / Google Slides. Experience with Looker BI tool a plus
