We’re looking for a Retention Manager to join our Growth team - an analytical thinker with a deep understanding of the marketing funnel (and the most effective ways to communicate with a customer at every stage). The retention marketing manager will be tasked with developing a holistic communication strategy for the full lifecycle of our customer. The ideal candidate strikes the right balance between being metrics-driven, having a keen eye for creative, and being able to evangelize customer lifecycle initiatives cross-functionally.
What you’ll do:
- Leveraging your data skills, analyze customer performance, retention and LTV by channel/cohort/tenure
- Identify opportunities to engage our customers along their journey with the goal of elevating customer experience, increasing LTV and reducing churn
- Develop strategy for our subscription and loyalty programs
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to develop data triggers, personalization opportunities, list segmentation and email capture tactics
- Write thoughtful creative briefs to be executed by internal and external teams to update messaging in retention channels (Email, SMS, Site)
- Design site experiments via A/B testing platforms (Google Optimize, Optimizely)
- Surface insights by working with data in our warehouse and BI tools (Snowflake and Looker experience a plus)
- Provide thought leadership and reporting related to retention
- Deliver against key company KPIs including retention rate and LTV
About you:
- BA/BS degree in marketing, statistics or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of e-commerce experience
- 2-3 years of hands-on email marketing experience a must
- 3-5 years of retention/lifecycle marketing experience
- Hands-on experience with email and site analytics a must (GA, Heap, Looker)
- Snowflake experience a plus
- Knowledge (and excitement) about the wellness and beauty market preferred
