About the Role:
At Emergy, you will work alongside highly educated professionals with strong backgrounds. As a Food Product Developer, you will develop a deep understanding of food fundamentals necessary for startups and food companies within natural industry. You will work closely with the Food Development Team, along with the entire cross-functional team. Because we are a startup you will get more hands-on experience, responsibility and exposure. This is an exciting time to be a part of our company and the growing plant-based meat category.
Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable processes for Meati
- Determine formulations using consumer-friendly ingredients
- Conduct basic analytical testing
- Evaluate and recommend different equipment
- Determine shelf life parameters
- Work with quality assurance teams to maintain food product standards
- Ensure operations are safe and effective
- Keep food lab clean and stocked with required ingredients

Education/Training Required:
