While Inside Stories delivers a customizable design service with greater flexibility to meet our clients’ budgets and timing requirements, our sister company, Duet Design Group, is a full-service luxury design firm specializing in more extensive projects such as custom homes, multi-family and commercial projects, with each project led by one of our two principals.
DESIGNING WITH INSIDE STORIES
Do you aspire to have your own interior design business, but don’t want to endure all of the risks and time associated with it? Perfect. Inside Stories may be for you. An Interior Designer at Inside Stories is a creative visionary and is both a dreamer and a doer. When you are a part of our team, you will run your own projects and foster your own client relationships including closing the contracts, while receiving strong support and infrastructure – including receiving client leads, back-office software and support, training and mentoring, advice, access to an extensive library, as well as ordering solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- College degree in Interior Design
- 6+ years of experience in Interior Design within the interior design industry; must be able to show experience in space planning, client interactions, specifying appropriate furnishings, and fixed finishes
- Highly self-motivated, excellent self-manager and loves to hustle!
- Must be detail oriented, have ability to multitask and solid time management skills
- Excellent at problem solving
- Comfortable switching between administrative and creative tasks
- Strong at negotiating with vendors and persuasive with clients
- Exceptional at AutoCAD
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, fast paced environment
- Comfortable travelling around the Denver Metro area
