Full Job Description
The Consumables Coordinator will oversee and direct the daily operations of the consumables department ensuring success in achieving the service department and company goals.  This will be accomplished by upholding the standards of the department, providing a high level of organization, and helping to continuously improve all processes.

Responsibilities

  • Working with Technician Manager and Asst. Technician manager to identify needed parts and consumable items.
  • Implementing inventory system to maintain stock levels.
  • Conducting a regular inventory and correcting discrepancies.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing consumables, parts, and tools.
  • Ordering parts for problem bikes and pairing with bike for service.
  • Reaching out to vendor partners to get replacement proprietary parts.
  • Forecasting quantities and working with purchasing dept. to procure bulk buys.
  • Upholding standards of organization and cleanliness within the department.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of bicycle maintenance procedures, parts, and tools.
  • 2+ yrs  bicycle service shop experience.
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced production type environment.
