Overview
Otter Products is currently recruiting for a Marketing Director based in Fort Collins, CO.
This servant people leader has accountability for the performance of a team to help lead marketing initiatives across one of our strategic brands. You will work to effectively balance deliverables across the brand and build broad organizational credibility.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with consumer products. Expert business knowledge with comprehensive understanding of marketing is extremely important for this role. This individual must have the ability to develop strategic goals and plans to meet business objectives and experience developing brand strategies. We are looking for a strong servant leader who enjoys helping their team grow and giving courageous feedback.

Responsibilities
- Manage a team of marketing professionals, including hiring and onboarding new team members, directing work, managing performance, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development and employee growth.
- Create and maintain a culture of engagement by proactively developing, leading, coaching and motivating a group of professionals, to generate optimum business results and assuming increasing management responsibilities.
- Adapt and execute functional business plans and contribute to the development of functional and department strategies.
- Establish and communicate brand strategy and priorities to cross-functional stakeholders (internal and external) to gain their support and required resources.
- Lead development and translation of consumer insights into short- and long-term brand communication and product strategies. Capability to train others in best practices.
- Apply comprehensive understanding of the category and competitive environments to deliver strategic goals and objectives.
- Assess implications of trends and elevate risks across the organization from a marketing perspective.
- Develop holistic marketing budget to deliver business results.
- Partner with insights team to develop comprehensive quantitative and qualitative research plans to gather relevant insights to inform short and long-term plans.
- Establish and meet annual business and marketing objectives.
- Comprehensive understanding of the category and competitive environments. Ability to assess implications of trends and elevate risks across the organization.
- Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum ten years of experience in marketing working with Consumer Goods
- Minimum five years of experience working in B2C Marketing.
- Minimum five years of experience in a people management role.
