Motive Retail is seeking an energetic leader for our service delivery and customer support functions. We offer solutions to the automotive industry focused on automating the integration of disparate systems. Our customers use our software and services to implement B2B APIs (JSON/REST, XML/SOAP). Our solutions are used globally by some of the leading companies in automotive. You will be responsible for leading a technical customer-facing team and will need strong technical acumen, an innovative/entrepreneurial spirit and strong organizational and leadership qualities. You will work hands-on when needed and drive outcomes through a combination of people, process and technology. You will work closely with the product team and sales to ensure achievement of company objectives.
Responsibilities:

Own the responsibility for executing and improving all support and services processes, driving a high quality customer and user experience.

Deliver on API design activities using industry XML and JSON standards and ensure all system onboarding tasks including data mapping, API testing, configuration, testing design and set-up are performed.

Institutionalize an agile process for delivery of our services and support leveraging Jira and other tools and processes

Manage projects across internal and external resources to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within scope.

Train, lead, motivate, engage, and retain team, developing a strong outcome-focused culture.

Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.

Work closely with the software development team to help innovate new product features and enhancements.

Participate in the company Leadership Team to help drive strategic direction, execution and growth strategies.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of support and services experience in a technical role either with a software firm or in an IT services environment

Experience developing and/or implementing B2B APIs and integration technologies in a distributed, server-based enterprise-class environment using a combination of technologies such as REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, OpenAPI, etc. and tools such as SoapUI and/or Postman

Proven experience working with executives, senior leadership and operational / technical teams of external clients

Proven experience managing small technical teams
