ICAST (International Center for Appropriate & Sustainable Technology) is a local non‐profit organization working to address climate change and affordable housing challenges by installing clean energy solutions in multifamily housing market. Our projects foster economic viability, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility in under‐served communities in Colorado, New Mexico, Missouri and Utah. Our vision is to scale nationally.
Position Overview: This position has been created to manage ICAST’s expansion of Multifamily (“MF”) Demand Side Management (“DSM”) programs into new service territories and to grow its current business operations in the Midwest and Mountain regions. This position is ideally located in Denver, CO but can be in any major City in the USA.
Duties will include but not be limited to, managing relationships with utility companies, state officials, and other stakeholders involved in developing and managing DSM programs, plus helping ICAST staff with other duties and projects as directed.
The candidate applying for this position will be up to date on technology and other innovations as it pertains to the utility market we serve so as to provide appropriate advice to ICAST and our Utility clients for optimal solutions and process improvements.
Position Duties:
1. Manage Relationships with utility and other stakeholders.
2. Develop new processes and relationships to support the launch of new programs.
3. Create, manage, and track project plans.
4. Interact with a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
5. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project issues and decisions.
6. Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status and metrics throughout its life cycle.
7. Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
8. Analyze program risks.
9. Coordinate with utilities for requests for energy data, rebates, and other requests as necessary.
10. Develop new innovative opportunities with utilities for existing and future MF programs
Requirements/Must Have:
· At least 5 years of account management experience with large corporate clients
Qualifications:
· Degree in a related field, such as engineering, environmental science, or business.
· Possess knowledge of the utility industry and energy markets.
· Microsoft Suite proficient, including Microsoft Access
· Proficient in Salesforce, Smartsheets and Visio
· Self-motivator
· Able to work successfully, independently and as part of a team
· Passionate about environmental, social, or nonprofit work
