Summary Â
The E-Commerce Strategic Account Manager will foster and maintain relationships with key e-commerce accounts and potential partners identified by our Sales Management. This person is directly responsible for managing sales, marketing, and supporting activities for applicable accounts. This position will work remotely from their home office and will be located in the U.S. Â
Responsibilities Â
· Manages sales for our key e-commerce accounts, working with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care Departments to address key business issues and opportunitiesÂ
· Responsible for account relations, including preparing and delivering relevant reports, operating budgets and sales forecasts, and participating in developing and implementing Sales and Marketing strategy Â
· Responsible for ensuring professional and productive business relationships are built and fosteredÂ
· Develop and coach team personnel to ensure e-commerce accounts receive sufficient marketing and planning supportÂ
· Creation and implementation of sales strategies and growth plansÂ
· Track and report on account forecasts, wholesale sales, and marketing activities Â
· Monitor contractual compliance, including but not limited to, merchandising, pricing, and trainingsÂ
· Relay information, budgets, performance, and initiatives between senior leaders/sales management and accounts partnersÂ
· Stay current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitorsÂ
· Other duties, as assignedÂ
Requirements Â
· Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field Â
· 5+ years related work experience equivalent combination of education and experience that indicates an established track record in a Sales Management roleÂ
· Experience with strategic e-comm retailers is an assetÂ
· Flexibility to travel at least 50-60 % of the time within the USA and elsewhere if requiredÂ
· Strong Leadership/Team Player skills and abilities to apply strategic thinking, execute effectively and build strong teamsÂ
· Results-oriented with demonstrated business skills related to goal setting, budgeting, and reportingÂ
· Ability to analyze performance data, assess results, and craft educated recommendationsÂ
· Problem solving abilities to manage abstract and/or concrete variablesÂ
· Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe products and Microsoft outlookÂ
· Strong oral and written communication skillsÂ
· Extended hours of work, as necessary
