As VP of Data Strategy and Analytics you will shape and implement the data strategy to expand and leverage our data to power our products and services and fuel the worldwide Techstars network
What you will do
- Develop a comprehensive data strategy for Techstars data across all service lines that is aligned with our mission and business strategy.Â
- Lead the enterprise transformation of Techstars into a truly data driven enterprise which data as a foundational asset
- Define specifics like data acquisition and collection, data entities, MDM logic, entity relationship management logic, data transformation logic, data models etc.
- Define and achieve the appropriate data quality measures like latency, accuracy, relevance etc.Â
- Provide technical product management leadership to the Data Platform engineering team
- Shape and execute the self service strategy for enterprise analytics and reporting
- Shape and execute the M/L strategy
- Mature our agile development discipline
What you bring
- A passion for driving change and transformational efforts
- Expert Software/Data Product Management chops
- Hands on experience being a data engineer, analyst or similar
- Experience in assessing and framing complex data problems
- Deep expertise in master data management working with complex data entities at scale in highly regulated environments
- Diverse expertise with a variety of databases, data transformation patterns, data ingestion patterns and data consumption pattern
- Experience building reporting solutions like EDW/BI marts and integrating that with a variety of visualization and reporting tools
- A track record for execution
- 8+ years of applicable experience
- MBA preferred
