Position Overview
We are seeking a Social Media & Influencer Manager that has a pure love of everything social media, content, and influencer marketing and wants to partner with a mission-driven brand that is making a positive difference. You blend upbeat energy with a depth of knowledge, experience, and a focus on driving results.
You naturally stay up on the latest pop-culture trends and know how to utilize them to gain awareness, consideration, and purchase. Being laser-focused on the growth of the company’s social networks is very important to you and knows all the tactics to make it happen including how to report on them. You live a healthy lifestyle and love representing our brand when building a community of influencers that align with the companies brand.
You also happen to be a secret data nerd who loves using analytic tools to track campaign progress and knows how to optimize based on the data. Interacting and responding to customers comes naturally to you, and you make sure to keep the brand's voice in mind during every interaction. A successful manager will collaborate across departments with marketing, PR, email and legal teams to align company messages, promotions, and goals.
Social Director Manager Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, develop, lead and optimize overall social strategy, operations and team
• Develop and implement social media, blog, content and brand strategies, campaigns, and plans to build brand/company awareness
• Foster a community of brand evangelist influencers who align with the company and grow the customer base
• Create, maintain, and grow new and existing social networks, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and any others you think we need
• Monitor social media progress using web analytic tools
• Incorporate optimization strategies, analyze data and research the best ways to increase traffic
• Support paid social media advertising strategies and budgets
• Secure new content partnerships with like-minded influencers and nurture them into long-term relationships with the brand
• Resolve customer issues through social media
• Create engaging written and visual content for social platforms
• Research new media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities
• Provide feedback from social media trends and research; relay it to business strategists
• Write effective, concise copy for multiple platforms, websites, and social networks that perfectly align with our brand tone and voice
Requirements and Qualifications
• Stellar verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, writing, literature or related field
• 5+ years of social media and content management experience
• 3+ years of content (copy + images) creation
• 3+ years of influencer acquisition and creation of partnerships
• 2+ years in health and wellness space
• 3+ years of experience with Tap Influence, Mavrck, Zendesk, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and/or HubSpot
• Strong Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Google Analytics
• Proficient computer skills
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
• Knowledge of SEM and Display marketing
• Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audiences
• Excellent analytical and time-management skills
• Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
This position is contract to hire. If you're a good fit then we will hire you full-time after 90 days:

• Competitive salary based on experience – $90k - $105k range per year
