JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Video Content and Production, is a one-year temporary contract position on the Marketing and Communications team and supports all teams within the Center. Skilled in video and audio production, the Video Content and Production Manager will translate ideas into concepts that engage and inspire audiences. The ideal candidate will strengthen our mission by leveraging industry-leading storytelling best practices that will increase brand awareness and support messaging.

The Marketing and Communications team strongly supports education and outreach and the office of the CEO in creating presentation and summary materials for the board, keynote presentations, website engagement, videos and educational materials and podcasts. The right person for this role has impeccable taste, is highly motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, must takes feedback well, but confident in their artistic vision.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops long- and short-form video and audio content to support marketing and communications projects and initiativesÂ
- Works with the leadership of the Marketing and Communications Team to develop the Center’s overall video production and digital storytelling strategy
- In collaboration with the Director of Communications, produces video and audio assets and other projects to completion, making sure they are on time, on budget, and of the highest quality
- Writes, researches, and produces compelling narratives and synthesizes complex material
- Develop methods and processes for discovering, assessing, and cultivating the Center’s messaging and stories through compelling media
- Work closely with stakeholders to organize and streamline video production and digital storytelling
- Pitch ideas and develop creative and innovative solutions for marketing and outreach materials; work with internal stakeholders to understand goals for new and existing materials
- Manage pre-production, production, and post-production of Center video and audio content, including planning, script writing, design, audio recording, and editing
- Establish production schedules with key stakeholders, subjects, and manage project production schedules
- Help shape and refine the Center’s video and audio brand guidelines and aesthetic
- Operate audio production equipment on location and/or in the office; transport, set up, and operate video production equipment on location and/or in the office
- Complete preventive maintenance and manage upkeep of Center-owned video and audio production equipment; maintain equipment inventory
- Manage digital assets; select, operate, and maintain inventory of media supplies
- Hire and supervise external vendors and freelancers as needed
- Establishes, facilitates, and maintains strategic partnerships and relationships in the Colorado filmmaking and podcasting communities
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in visual arts, film and television, film production, or related field
- Superior design ability demonstrated through 5–7 years of formal video and audio production experience
- Proficient on a PC computer and have high level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel
- Must have in-depth knowledge of video production and post-production, and a strong background in photography, including shooting and editing

SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary will be commensurate with background and experience. As a contract position, it is not benefits eligible.
