Made in Nature, a dried, organic foods company is in search of a contract senior accountant to assist in various projects. This role is full-time and preferably at the Boulder office with other finance staff. The Company has an entrepreneurial spirit, is dog-friendly, and frequents socially-distanced happy hours. We are in search of a consultant with the proper skillset and personality to fit with the team.

Projects include:

• Close 2019 books and play a key role in 2019 audit
• Mine the balance sheet for accuracy; propose and pose journal entries with proper supporting documentation
• Monitor audit team’s progress and respond to audit requests as needed
• Reconcile 2020 month-end to catch up to current
  • Create schedules, propose and post journal entries
  • Prepare monthly budget to actual variance analyses
  • Propose improvements for data processing, AP/AR, and general ledger maintenance
• Assist in data management to include Chart of Accounts, item BOMs, Overhead allocation, system inconsistencies, etc.
• Cleanse data in preparation for year-end ERP implementation

Preferred qualifications:

• CPA
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably a mix of both public and private companies
• Manufacturing experience
• Strong ERP systems experience
• Excellent excel skills
