Full Job Description

At Peaksware, we pride ourselves on being a great place to work. The primary purpose of this Senior Accounts Payable Analyst role is to manage the Accounts Payable function for Peaksware and its subsidiary companies - TrainingPeaks, TrainHeroic, MakeMusic, and Alfred Music. This position will be able to administer established AP processes in place but will also help build out and implement new processes as we strive to streamline and build consistent practices among the various subsidiaries.

We are looking for You! -- someone with an eye for detail along with an enthusiastic attitude, ready to roll up their sleeves.

This role will report to the Corporate Controller but will work closely with the Senior Accountant to ensure financial accuracy of each of the subsidiaries.

Your day-to-day will encompass:

  • Managing all vendor relationships
  • Processing invoices with proper coding, allocations, and approvals
  • Performing intercompany journal entries for shared expenses among subsidiaries
  • Processing payment runs (Check, ACH, and Wires)
  • Verifying, approving and processing employee expense reports
  • Corporate credit card expense audits and activity uploads into the GL
  • Issuing quarterly royalty checks along with proper support to 100+ recipients
  • Use tax calculations
  • Unclaimed Property submissions
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • College Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance [or demonstrable experience]
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in accounts payable
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and accounting software programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Netsuite and Concur Software Experience
  • Intellectual curiosity; ready to roll up sleeve

Benefits

  • 100% company paid medical plan for employees with buy-up options as well as dental and vision insurance for employees (dependent coverage available)
  • 401(k) 5% match
  • 3 weeks of PTO for all new hires; increase in PTO at various years of service
  • Stocked kitchen with snacks and drinks
  • Dog-friendly office
  • Music Studio for all to practice, jam, and record
  • On-site workout area access: treadmill, bike trainers, rowers, and full weight lifting gym with CrossFit equipment, with changing rooms and showers and towel service
