Full Job Description

The position of Associate Brand Manager, noosa yoghurt reports to the Marketing Director, and is based out of our Louisville, CO office.

The Associate Brand Manager will lead initiatives that drive growth and profitability for the noosa brand focused on trial & awareness of the brand through marketing and innovation. S/he will serve as a brand champion and steward protecting and promoting the noosa consumer value equation. Throughout the noosa organization, the Associate Brand Manager will be a thought leader, cross-functional galvanizer and business partner helping to drive the overall brand & business direction and implementing key programs to generate top-line & bottom-line growth.

The Associate Brand Manager will work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, partnering with Sales, R&D, Supply Chain and Operations, as well as collaborating with multiple agencies. The successful candidate will be comfortable leading and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to accomplish plans efficiently, effectively, and with superior in-market results.  This position requires a high level of collaboration across departments and a commensurate level of diplomacy and organization

The Associate Brand Manager will assist in developing strategy, generating business building ideas, designing and executing annual marketing campaign and plans, evaluating success of programs, assessing competition and trends, uncovering consumer insights, building winning consumer propositions across product, proposition and price, developing innovation pipeline and commercialize new products and cost-ovation. 

Job responsibilities:

  • Support noosa marketing PR and digital efforts (inclusive of social media, e-commerce, SEO, website, and CRM) through managing agency and internal teams to enhance noosa's consumer reach.
  • Build strategy in noosa’s consumer journey with lead agency through our digital ecosystem and the communication/tone needed to drive broader trial and brand affinity.
  • Collaborate with team to identify and deliver brand insight through regular and ad hoc business analytics. Report opportunities, issues, and solutions to noosa and Sovos leadership teams.
  • Support noosa Brand Managers in critical base business and innovation projects, inclusive of project management and cross functional engagement to achieve on-time results, driving success in the marketplace.
  • Manage marketing budget and activation prioritization for the noosa brand, inclusive of media planning, shopper marketing, advertising production, market research, new product design, and packaging design.
  • Be a true business partner in representing the voice of the consumer within the company, across many functions and levels of the organization. As a member of the noosa team, s/he will be required to not only deliver marketing and new product plans that grow sales but also have a broad understanding of all areas of the business and the levers required to manage the P&L and drive profitability.
  • Play a key role in the Sovos Marketing function, and continually bring positive energy to the Sovos Marketing function and to the noosa business.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent college degree required. MBA preferred.
  • 1-3 years relevant CPG marketing or brand management experience
  • Natural food industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with business analytic tools like: IRI, SPINS, Mintel, and social media/digital tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs like Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Knowledge of basic features in Photoshop and Illustrator is a bonus.

  • Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to analyze situations and quickly develop options, outlining assumptions, trade-offs, & risks
  • Proven track record of delivering results, including innovative ideas and methods to drive winning marketplace & financial outcomes.
  • Ability to persuade, influence & inspire through both verbal and written communication. Comfortable being direct while forging strong relationships that endure.
  • Agile and adept in working in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple projects & workstreams.
  • Excellent project management skills and high attention to detail, including ability to manage multiple tasks & deadlines, and prioritize against the most important business drivers.
  • Great collaboration and interpersonal skills highly important. Must be a solid team player, yet strong enough stand up for our consumers when needed.
