Summary of Responsibilities:
Pharmaca is looking for a data-driven and highly motivated E-Commerce Growth Manager to join our team and drive scalable and profitable ecommerce growth. This person will wear multiple hats as a business owner, as well as partner with the VP to manage digital marketing, user experience, merchandising and analysis, and own 3rd party partner relationships, including loyalty, reviews platform, and affiliates.
The Ecommerce Growth Manager will collaborate with ecommerce partners and marketing counterparts to profitably drive sales. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience managing ecommerce platforms (we're on Magento 2.3), A/B testing site variables to improve performance, and analyzing data across all measured channels to inform actions. This position is part of the Ecommerce team, reporting directly out of our dog-friendly home office in Boulder, CO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver budgeted financial results (sales, gross margin %, EBITDA) each fiscal year
- Manage all aspects of web analytics related to pharmaca.com and communicate relevant information to team members, cross-functional partners and leadership. Includes sales and conversion metrics, cohorts, LTV and CAC.
- Work with ecommerce website and merchandising managers to develop, prioritize and manage the pharmaca.com technology roadmap, and evaluate impact of enhancements and feature requests
- Partner with VP to manage digital marketing agency: paid channels, ROAS, spend and strategy as well as SEO performance and content planning.
- Manage ecommerce 3rd party solution providers, including Avantlink affiliates network, Yotpo reviews, loyalty program, and Attentive SMS
- Participate in weekly ecommerce team meetings to review business strategies and finalize upcoming strategies including promotions and recapping events.
- Develop deep understanding of UX / revenue drivers, design and propose short- and long-term strategic recommendations, and execute them with ecommerce team
- Develop weekly reporting for sales. KPIs, customer satisfaction, and loyalty program performance.
- Analyze the effectiveness of ecommerce activities (including product launches and promotions) and site enhancements, providing actionable insights to the ecommerce team
- Build and maintain analytics dashboards, analyze patterns (user segmentation, cohort analysis, etc.), and present insights to marketing team and senior management
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of consumer-facing digital and eCommerce experience, preferably with omnichannel retail. Understands both the physical and digital shopping experience and how they support/drive each other.
- Understanding of omnichannel eCommerce best practices including SEO, KPI development and performance tracking, product catalog, taxonomy, accessibility, and navigation.
- Track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships across Marketing, Customer Service, Merchandising, IT and other cross-functional partners. Must be able to collaborate with multiple business stakeholders.
- Experience with Magento 2.3 ecommerce platform, strong understanding of content management systems and best practices for scaling.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. In-depth understanding of Google Analytics.
- Strong understanding of digital media planning parameters and measurement criteria (must have hands on experience with Google Analytics)
- Understanding of the digital and retail levers, tactics & KPIs: traffic conversion, basket size, ROAS, CAC, consumer growth
- Strong time management and ability to oversee multiple projects at one time.
- Ability to wear multiple hats including digital marketing, user experience, merchandising and analysis
