The Digital Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing the digital acquisition vision and strategy for the Fjallraven and Hanwag brands. Working in conjunction with our digital marketing & SEO agency partners, this role is key to delivering the sales growth metrics for our ecom business. The acquisition specialist will be the team’s subject matter expert on digital acquisition marketing (SEM, Paid Social, Display) as well as the lead project manager on SEO efforts. This position must possess a keen understanding of acquisition/growth marketing best practices and a drive to stay on the cutting edge of new strategies and growth opportunities.
This position will manage many moving pieces, so an excellent eye for detail and strong prioritization skills are musts along with a strong analytical skill set. Looking for an energetic self-starter who can ramp up quickly, partner well with cross-functional teams, and work efficiently and effectively against goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define our strategy and approach for growth across the full DTC marketing funnel, including paid (SEM, Social & Display) and organic (SEO) initiatives.
- Manage internal stakeholders and external agencies to drive results.
- Produce the analysis needed to know what’s working, what’s not, why, and what we should do/try next.
- Drive insights that can inform how we define and engage with different customer groups.
- Develop the SEO focused content and execution strategy in conjunction with our SEO agency with the objective of providing a relevant and premium digital experience and growing organic traffic to meet revenue targets.
- Ensure a cohesive strategy is built across SEM & SEO to maximize spend efficiency across these channels
- Partner with Ecom teammates and SEO agency on optimizing the site experience to improve overall sales conversion and creating a best in class ecommerce experience.
- Frame and map opportunities based on historical results & current trends to maximize sales. Candidate must be adept in utilizing analytical tools to inform decisions.
- Set up and provide performance reports for leadership team
Skills / Experience:
- BA or BS degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Merchandising, Digital Marketing or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years’ experience in DTC digital marketing including SEM, paid social & display advertising
- Digital agency experience preferred, preferably in a strategic role
- Experience in data analytics, attribution modeling, and understanding how to drive ROI and growth with digital acquisition channels
- Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills
