Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Compensation: Salary of $37,000 - $47,000, with additional bonus plan activated after first 6 months.
Company overview: We are a fast growing (Inc 5000) privately held financial services company located in the greater Denver area. Our service is a niche line of back-office and funding services designed to help staffing firms grow faster and with less stress. More specifically, we handle all of their back office and Employer of Record duties for their contract placements.

Key responsibility: To ensure that all payroll, invoicing, and bookkeeping is completed accurately, on time, and with great service.
Duties include:
- Management of timesheet approvals
- Accurate preparation and processing of payroll
- Accurate preparation and processing of invoices and billing
- Accurate bookkeeping and general support with financial reporting
- Customer service as it relates to helping employees understand their payments and benefits
- Possible management of onboarding documentation for new employees and compliance
Ideal candidate:
- 1-2 years+ of related experience (payroll, billing, AR/AP, accounting), OR a high GPA in accounting or finance degree
- Strong financial acumen
- Loves process, detail, and accuracy!
- Strong value fit and highly conscientious
- Lives in greater Denver area, willing to meet in person every week or two (only if safe of course during COVID)
The interview process will include:
- Initial phone screen (if resume is accepted)
- Two assessments (personality + skill)
- Up to two in person interviews (only to the degree that is safe during COVID!)
Location & reporting structure: This is primarily a work-from-home positon. As a small team, we all work in the greater Denver area and typically meet up in person 1-3 times per quarter for a full or half day session. The selected candidate will report to Agile's Operations Manager.
