The Senior Business Process Analyst will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, such as management or end users, and the IT team. They will analyze, define, document, and implement technology systems and related business processes and training programs, across the organization that lead to increased organizational effectiveness; assessing project value, merging business requirements, technology capabilities, business process design, change management and training needs. The person will be a Project Manager and a champion for change -Â leading a number of key projects for the business unit and the company.
Core Responsibilities include:
- Develop organizational goals, policies and procedures as it relates to the use of business technology systems, driving understanding, adoption and excellence.
- Understand and develop business processes and workflows as well as how enterprise applications support each department.
- Drive systems implementations, partnering with key internal stakeholders, management, technical resources and vendors to assess business needs, system requirements and product capabilities, then build/manage an implementation plan that coordinates technical resources, defines business process (in coordination with department managers/subject matter experts), and prepares end users with a training plan.
- Manage projects and resources to meet budget requirements and deadlines.
- Support organizational effectiveness initiatives such as change management and/or organizational design.
- Evaluate the organization's technology use/needs and recommend improvements.
- Partner with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors and others to understand business objectives and translate to specific IT systems requirements and user business process to achieve objective.
- Partner with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors and others to solicit cooperation and resolve issues related to systems, business processes and training.
- Help other departments create repeatable trainings for employee onboarding, systems use and processes.
- Help establish KPI metrics and define related reporting to measure success and value.
- Create on-boarding and ongoing company training programs to elevate skills and productivity.
- Raise the technical competency level across the organization through creation and delivery of training programs.
- Any other needs as defined by the VP of Information Systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of related experience
- Project Management experience
- Experience implementing system/trainings for related enterprise-level, cross-functional applications, such as: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management (WMS), Point of Sale (POS), Customer relationship Management (CRM), Document Management
- Demonstrated experience with creation and delivery of technology and process trainings
- Advanced proficiency in MS O365 applications specifically Excel
Ideal Candidates have the following traits:
- Familiarity with web content management systems (i.e., WordPress)
- Familiarity with e-commerce systems (i.e., Woo, Magento, Shopify)
- Experience with HubSpot or other Customer Relationship Management/Marketing Automation toolset
- Project Management or Business Process Management Certification
- Familiarity with LEAN or Six Sigma
