Full Job Description

The Director, Organizational Effectiveness will help VF solve complex challenges and support the organization through critical transformations. As a member of the team, you will deliver change management, organization development, culture, and technology adoption solutions that enable the success of transformation goals for the organization.

How You Will Do It:

  • Partner with assigned business leaders to understand initiatives and provide consulting for planning, execution, and support of the initiatives
  • Apply VF’s change management tools and frameworks to support improved future-state organizational operation and alignment
  • Apply behavioral tools to assess the impact of change on organizations, using assessments of organizational culture, performance, and readiness for change
  • With the Change team, define change plans that include activities to support change and transition initiatives
  • Employ data-driven metrics to measure success of change initiatives and inform additional needs
  • Define and deliver change plans to support business initiatives
  • With the team, develop and deploy user adoption activities and training programs to support implementations
  • Execute ongoing evaluation and continuous improvement activities
  • Partner with Communications to identify needs, and develop effective communication plans to support the change initiatives

Skills For Success

  • Years of Related Professional Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a consulting or industry role, with direct experience in change management and organizational development
  • Educational Position Requirements: A Bachelor's degree (BA) is great to have, with that said, we are more interested in your total experience and achievements throughout your professional career.
  • Ability to travel 25-30% of the time
  • Demonstrated interest in a profession in Human Capital work through professional organizations, coursework, certifications, conference attendance, etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
  • Ability to lead a team of non- direct reports
  • Proven skills in successfully managing broad and complex projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and apply problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to employ research and analytical thinking
  • Demonstrated capabilities in teamwork and leadership
