Full Job Description

We are a band of passionate, innovative process redesigners and health care workers who work tirelessly to change health care delivery for the underserved. If you have integrity and strong skills as a bookkeeper, financial director, and communicator then we are looking to add you to our team. We are looking for a permanent (non-temporary), part-time (20 – 28 hours per week) financial lead for our company (we are a nationally based firm based) in downtown Boulder. This position reports to the CEO and is flexible on hours and remote work. We are a diverse team and we do not discriminate on candidates based upon anything except your skills and ability to do a stellar job every day to contribute to meeting our goals.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting or other related fields
  • Knowledge and experience with Quickbooks online required
  • Clean history with no past offenses or judgments of lack of financial integrity
  • Experience with Adobe PDFs and MS Word to edit and adjust contracts
  • Technology savvy skills: Experience or ability to quickly learn GoogleDrive, TripIt, Expensify app, and / or Podio,
  • Successful experience filing quarterly tax documents
  • Experience with Payroll and Payroll software (preferably ADP)
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to capture key information quickly and translate that into a working task list.
  • Strong time management and independent management of tasks and time.

Your Main Thing: To ensure timely management of all contractual and financial aspects of the business through management of expenses, revenue and all travel logistics and expenses.

Position Objective: To embody the Coleman Ethos while providing office support to the Coleman Training Team. This is done in three key ways:

  1. Monitoring and helping with the Coleman Travel and travel logistics, and the bulk of the time will be spent maintaining of expenses and looking for ways to prevent errors and reduce costs (where practical); and
  2. Ensuring timely and accurate records and processing of the books. This includes processing payables and receivables around all aspects of the work including travel and compensation as well as making tax payments, payroll, credit card payments, etc.
  3. Communicating with associates and clients around documents, invoices, contracts, expenses, etc., and maintaining external accounts and all of the financial books for Coleman Associates.
