Job Description
We are looking for a driven Marketing Coordinator, who has a knack for making data-informed, strategic decisions in order to optimize towards brand and performance KPIs. The Marketing Coordinator will assist on audio and video efforts across traditional and digital platforms. This person will work closely with the Marketing Manager to help drive a cohesive, full funnel view of the customer journey.
This role is for someone who has the desire to learn, grow, and have an impact at a hyper-growth company. We are looking for someone who is equal parts analytical and creative, with a passion for disrupting categories and driving consumer value. As Sunday is a new startup, this is an opportunity to join at the ground level, work directly with founders, and continually grow with the company as it scales.
Some of the general responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator, Mass Media include:
- Strategy: Help execute upper funnel marketing efforts, primarily audio and video, to drive towards brand and performance KPIs.
- Support in the planning and buying process for digital and offline channels.
- Analyze campaign performance with regular data analysis to measure KPIs, trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Identify test opportunities and areas of growth that will help meet business KPIs.
- Continue to strengthen understanding of media strategy and applications.
- Partner Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing Manager and Agency partners to help drive a cohesive strategy across platforms.
- Support in the planning and buying process for digital and offline channels.
- Oversee partner reporting cadence for performance, budgeting, post logs, etc.
- Help account for proper media accruals and ensure timely delivery of invoices to Finance and Accounting.
- Assist with vendor assessment and proposals.
- Tools and Platforms. Keep up to date on emerging tools and technologies around research, discovery, reporting, and buying.
- Cross Team Collaboration. Work with the larger marketing team to coordinate efforts around larger scale testing, product launches, and cross channel attribution.
Desired Background
- 1-2 years experience in mass media channels including but not limited to: ○ Video - TV, OTT, CTV, OLV
- Audio - Podcasts and radio
- OOH - Traditional and digital billboards
- Direct Mail
- Background in media planning and buying
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Experience with media research and analytics tools such as MRI, Nielsen, Kantar, etc.
- Ideally~ experience with working on digital-first brands with e-commerce presence
Other Skills and Qualifications
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively within deadlines
- Excellent communication (verbal/written) skills, ability to navigate different personality types and work styles, ability to work with confidential information
