Do you have a natural ability to find solutions, be approachable, and keep team morale high? Do your co-workers regularly bounce their compliance and policy questions as well as managerial challenges off you because of your deep knowledge/experience, caring communication of the "why," and effective coaching methods? Have you helped develop peer leaders' level of HR Management thinking? Are you data-driven, and known for your attention to detail and organization, HR regulatory and compliance knowledge, and empathy? What we’ll expect from you and what you'll be doing:

  • Leveraging your excellent people skills, EQ, and ability to communicate in a way that is embraced, leading the ongoing development of Managers' and Executives' understanding of legal, regulatory, and organizational policy compliance 
  • Leveraging your phenomenal people, communication and listening skills, natural curiosity, customer service, and expertise to understand managerial and employee needs and resolve challenges, questions, and requests
  • Using your deep regulatory knowledge to ensure that we mitigate risks and remain in legal and regulatory compliance
  • Leading an HR Administrator in the administration of benefits, PTO, unemployment, etc. 
  • Using your analytical skills and data to coach managers, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks
  • Eventually (after learning the ins and outs of how we do things today) using your self-motivation and desire to make a valuable contribution to collaboratively improve processes as well as the use of internal software to improve department and organizational efficiencies
  • Other duties as assigned

Job requirements:

  • Authorization to work in the US
  • SHRM SCP certification
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance and 7+ years in a Human Resource Manager role
  • Excellent and grammatically correct written and verbal communication (English), organizational, attention to detail, customer service, leadership, coaching, and time-management skills, as well as a positive attitude
  • BS degree in Business or Human Resources preferred
  • Proficiency in verbal and written Spanish preferred, but not required
  • Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, required. 
  • Local candidates preferred
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, see, hear, walk, push, pull and lift boxes/items up to 10 pounds

Additional information:

  • Office atmosphere working with office equipment such as computers, copiers, and scanners
  • Exempt position, with an annual salary of $97,000-130,000 based on skills, knowledge, and experience
