JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager will lead cross-functional product development and cost savings projects through a stage-gate process. Individuals should have proven success in bringing consumer products to commercialization and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Manager will work closely with all functions to ensure alignment and on time delivery. Essential responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Lead project teams through the stage-gate process, for on time delivery
- Create and maintain the project timeline and track key project milestones and deliverables
- Manage communications across the cross-functional project team
- Provide consistent updates to key project stakeholders an ensure cross functional alignment
- Assess, manage, and mitigate project risk, including ownership of escalations when appropriate
- Participate in process improvement discussions to share key learnings with peers and provide feedback
- Build and grow business relationships and continually develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Yasso’s overall business to drive clarity on project needs and priorities
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading cross-functional projects in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of and experience leading teams through stage-gate processes and product lifecycle activities
- Able to manage across multiple projects at various stages and drive them to completion simultaneously
- Possesses general management skills such as leadership, negotiation, communication, ability to motivate, ability to influence, and team building
- Detail-oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; direct communication style
- Natural facilitator, problem solver
- “Can-do attitude”, confidence, enthusiasm, open-mindedness, adaptability, team player, and personal integrity, proven success keeping diverse stakeholders focused on common goals
- Provide vision, direction, solid judgment, issue and conflict resolution, and effective decision making
